Hello Parents & Guardians,

 

What an exciting year this will be for our brand new WildKat Drill Team! I'm thrilled to have been given this very rewarding position of Team Mom Coordinator ~ Drill Team.

 

There are many things involved in getting a "new" drill team started. The following is a list of volunteer positions we need, along with the responsibilities for each position. Please contact me if you are interested.

 

• Game Announcer
  Responsible for attending every game and announcing or introducing the Klein WildKats, Sponsors, WildKats of the week, etc. over the PA System before their performance. You will be given a script, which will be basically the same for each game.
• Homecoming Parents 
  Volunteers to work with the Coordinator regarding activities, gifts, snacks, homecoming mums, and decorations.
• Pom Pom Parents
  Responsible for storing pom poms and taking them to and from all games and practices.
• Tarp Parents
  Responsible for setting up the awning in the stands for the girls to sit under. Responsible for storing the awnings and getting them to the home games prior to the start of the first game. Responsible for break down of the awning after the half time performance of the second game.
• First Aid
  If any parent has a medical background, we must know, in case of an emergency.
• Game Parents
• Responsible for sitting near and taking the girls to and from the bathrooms during both games.
• Banquet Committee
  Work with Coordinator in organizing our end of the year banquet. Help with decorating, set-up, etc.…Help with wrapping gifts and bringing them to the banquet. 
• Snack Moms
  Responsible for snacks at Monday and Thursday practices. Snowcones will be served every other week. We need these special treats for both Juniors and Seniors. We need one Junior Mom and one Senior Mom.

Our success depends upon the help of all the drill team parents. We appreciate those of you who volunteer your valuable time. I look forward to your support this upcoming season.
